Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that a surge of springlike weather is about to return to Kansas for the middle of the week. Temperatures will be nearly 15 degrees above normal heading into Wednesday.
Skies will begin to clear during the overnight hours, so by Tuesday morning, most of the state will be under clear skies. Lows will start the day in the 20s with gusty northwest winds. Sunshine will take us through Tuesday afternoon with highs in the 50s.
South breezes will be back for Wednesday with highs in the 60s. A big change will hit later this week when most of the state drops back to the 20s and 30s for highs.
