WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Two people arrested in connection with a road-rage shooting that left a four-year-old boy injured made their first appearance in court on Monday.
Tylin Atkinson, 19, and Ramonyka Smith, 21, were both charged with criminal discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
Atkinson also faces an assault charge. He is being held in the Sedgwick County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
Smith's bond has been set at $100,000.
Eyewitness News has been in contact with the parents of the four-year-old who says the boy suffered a shattered bone, lacerated kidney liver and muscle. He remains hospitalized with his injuries but is expected to survive.
A GoFundMe has been setup to help the family raise money for the boy's medical expenses.
