Temperatures heading back up

By  |

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that after one of the coldest New Years in recent history, temperatures will continue to go up through the remainder of the week. There's still no sign of any rain or snow between now and the weekend.

A few clouds will pass through during the night. Lows will be dropping back to the teens and 20s, which is how we will start the day Wednesday. Afternoon temperatures will be a mix of 30s and 40s with mostly sunny skies.

Morning clouds on Thursday will move out and the afternoon will be sunny. Temperatures will be a mix of 30s and 40s once again.

A late weekend storm will be pushing toward Kansas, which may bring some rain showers to parts of eastern Kansas by Sunday evening.
