Track rising rivers across Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The rain has stopped, but much of Kansas is still dealing with flooding.

Portions of central Kansas received between 8 and 11 inches of rain since last Friday.

The steady rain caused rivers and creeks to come out of their banks. Most are expected to crest on Wednesday.

In downtown Wichita, the Arkansas River rose significantly with high water covering much of the river's walkways.
