WICHITA, Kan. You have until tomorrow (Tuesday, July 16) to register to vote in the August primary elections for local government and school-board positions.
In Wichita, the ballot includes a 9-person race to become the city's next mayor. The primary election will narrow the field. Advanced ballots go out in the mail Wednesday (July 17). Early voting for the primary begins next Monday (July 22) at the election office and at satellite locations beginning on Aug. 1.
The primary itself is set for Aug. 6 with the general election for local representation following on Nov. 5.
