Wichita police have arrested two people in connection with the death of a man who was reported missing a few days ago.

According to police, 25-year-old Royce Thomas and 24-year-old Micaela Spencer of Wichita were arrested Monday on charges of first-degree murder, possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants.

Police say Sedgwick County Deputies were dispatched to a report of an auto theft in progress at Englewood and MacArthur at around 3:20 p.m. on Monday.

That report involved a stolen trailer and vehicle.

Deputies found the stolen truck and a pull-behind RV in the 1300 block of S Greenwood.

Both Royce and Spencer were in the vehicle and were arrested without incident.

While investigating, officers found 50-year-old William Callison of Wichita dead inside the RV. He'd suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Callison had been reported missing days earlier.

The case remains under investigation.
