An affidavit pertaining to the death of William "Billy" Callison has been released.
The affidavit details an event that happened before authorities found Callison's body.
According to the document, police received a call from someone who witnessed a truck and enclosed trailer being driven out of USA RV storage on S. Broadway back on May 13.
That caller was later identified as the person who owned teh trailer. He said the truck belonged to an employee of his, identified as William Callison, though Callison was not the one driving the truck.
The affidavit states the caller followed the truck until it stopped at MacArthur and Englewood. He then confronted the occupants. He recognized the female passenger as Michaela Spencer and the driver, later identified as Royce Thomas.
The caller told police that Thomas was wearing a Payday Motors work shirt, which he believed belonged to Callison.
After the confrontation, they eventually agreed that it was all "confusion" and Thomas and Spencer unhooked the trailer and drove off in the truck.
That trailer contained a restored 1963 Corvette Stingray, which belonged to the caller. The caller told police that he did not believe Callison, who was a long-time employee of his, would conspire to steal from him.
Callison was later found dead in an RV that he owned, which was found along with his stolen truck.
Spencer and Thomas were both arrested.
