Warm south winds continue

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that warm south winds will likely continue into the beginning of the weekend. Temperatures won't be to far off of normal for this time of the year, as the average high is 84.

Look for mainly clear skies into the night with lows falling into the 60s. The breeze will continue from the south. Highs on Friday will be near 90 in the northwest with low to mid 80s in central and eastern Kansas. South winds will once again be gusty from time to time.

The weather doesn't change much into the weekend. Clouds will stick around longer in central and eastern Kansas with sunny skies in the west. Highs will mainly be in the low to mid 80s for both days over the weekend.
