Warmer Friday followed by slight rain chance

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that most of the state will see even warmer weather on Friday with sunshine. There is still a slight chance for some rain on Saturday, but it won't be very much if we even get rain at all.

Friday morning will start with mostly clear skies and low temperatures in the 20s and 30s. The afternoon will warm into the 60s and 70s with plenty of sun. Gusty winds return to northwest Kansas where the fire danger will be extreme once again.

Chance for rain on Saturday are slim, but there's still a possibility over southern Kansas. A few thunderstorms are also possible, but they won't be severe. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s. Strong north winds return to Kansas Saturday afternoon and will likely continue into Sunday too.
