Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that springlike weather is set to return to Kansas over the next couple of days with highs getting into the 70s by Friday.
Skies will remain clear during the night with lows falling into the teens and 20s. The winds will remain light. And Thursday looks to warm up into the 60s with light winds turning back to the south.
Friday will be even warmer with a mix of 60s and 70s. Look for a mostly sunny sky and light winds.
There's still a chance for some rain to move into southern Kansas this weekend. Right now, the timing looks to be Saturday morning and early afternoon, and most of it will fall over southern Kansas. Sunday will be dry and windy once again.
