Weather Alert - bitter wind chills continue into early Thursday afternoon

Meteorologist Jake Dunne says temperatures are cold this morning, but the wind chill is even colder. A north breeze between 10 and 20 mph is making temperatures in the lower teens feel like zero and colder… as cold -10 degrees in spots!

Skies begin mostly sunny, but they’ll turn mostly cloudy and that will keep temperatures in the teens and low 20s today or 25 degrees below normal! Winds will relax during the day, but a light breeze this afternoon will keep wind chills in the teens.

After a very cold start on Valentine’s Day, we find our way into the 30s on Friday afternoon. The weekend looks even warmer as highs in the 50s on Saturday will be replaced by 60s on Sunday. Alongside the warmer temperatures will be a strong and gusty wind.
