WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The Wichita Fire Department says there's still time to donate personal hygiene products to local students.

All 22 stations are collecting body soap, conditioner deodorant, laundry detergent, lotion and maxi pads as a part of the "Back to School" dignity drive.

"Our mission at Giving the Basics Wichita is to bring dignity, health and opportunity to struggling children and adults through the distribution of hygiene products," reads a statement on "Giving the Basics flyer.

Again, the drive will benefit children in Wichita area schools who may otherwise not have access to these basic necessities.

The deadline to donate is Sept. 15.
