Man charged with animal cruelty in pit bull's sexual assault

The man accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend's dog is charged in Sedgwick County court.

The district attorney's office says 55-year-old Justin McClellan, of Wichita, was charged Wednesday with cruelty to animals, a felony, and domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

McClellan's preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 13.

Wichita police arrested a 55-year-old man in connection with a case involving animal cruelty.

A woman told police after she got into a fight with her boyfriend, she came home to find him having sex with her five-month-old pit bull puppy.

The man was booked into Sedgwick County Jail Thursday.

Jail records show Justin Eugene McClellan was arrested for animal cruelty, aggravated criminal sodomy and domestic battery.


Wichita police say a man accused of sodomizing a five-month-old pit bull puppy has been arrested.

Police say the 55-year-old man was booked into jail for animal cruelty, criminal sodomy and domestic battery. His name has not been released.

Police also say there was evidence of previous physical abuse to the dog.

Wichita police say they're looking for a man who may have sodomized a five-month-old pit bull.

A woman told police she got into a fight with her boyfriend on Tuesday when she came home and found him having sex with the dog.

She took the puppy to the emergency vet and is now in the care of a Beauties and Beasts.

Police went to the 1300 block of N. Meridian to find the man but he was gone. The case is being investigated as a battery DV and sodomy case.

No arrests have been made.
