Wichita police out 'enforcing speed' on Kellogg

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The Wichita Police Department was out in full force on Kellogg Tuesday.

The department posted a photo to Facebook showing two patrol cars and several motorcycles lined up, ready to catch people breaking traffic laws.

"‪Speeders beware! WPD Traffic is enforcing speed on Kellogg today in full force. Please watch your speed, because we are," reads the post.

Police say officers issued 55 citations during a 2 ½ hour assignment on Tuesday with the top speed cited being 80 mph and the lowest speed cited being 70mph.

The posted speed limit is a 60 mph.
