WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Wichita Police are looking for the driver responsible for running over a 36-year-old mom with a car.

Eyewitnesses called 911 around 1:00 a.m. Saturday when they saw a woman lying in the street near the intersection of Harry and S Martinson in west Wichita.

The woman, identified by family at 36-year-old Lilly Nulick, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Her father, Larry Davis, says she suffered multiple broken ribs, head trauma, and severe bleeding. Right now, Nulick is on life support.

"You don't realize how bad it hurts," said Larry Davis, Nulick's dad. The mother of three lives with her dad a few blocks from where the crash happened.

Nulick's family says she walks everywhere and has a hard time sleeping; that's probably why she was in the street early Saturday morning.

It was storming at the time of the incident, but an eyewitness was able to give a vague description of the vehicle. That witness told police it was a dark blue car, possibly a Dodge Charger or something with a similar body type.

"Whoever hit her, please come forward," said Jessica Davis, Nulick's sister-in-law. "Turn yourself in and do the right thing."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police. The number for Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers is 267-2111.
