Wichita's Ambassador Hotel earns only AAA Four Diamond rating in KS

A downtown Wichita hotel is recognized with a prestigious honor.

Thursday, AAA announced that the Ambassador Hotel, Autograph Collection has earned the AAA Four Diamond Award rating for the 2016 review period. AAA says the Ambassador is the only hotel or restaurant in Kansas to achieve the Four Diamond or Five Diamond level.

"This exclusive group of Four Diamond hotels represents just 5.9 percent of the nearly 28,000 AAA-approved and Diamond-rated hotels," AAA says.

AAA says the Ambassador garnered its third straight AAA Four Diamond Award. The Ambassador opened in 2012 and Douglas and Broadway.
