Chiefs will host Colts in AFC Divisional round

The Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Green Bay Packers on August 30, 2017 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs defeated the Packers 33 - 21.

HOUSTON, TX. (KWCH) -- The Chiefs learned their opponent Saturday night, when the sixth seeded Colts downed the third seeded Texans 21-7 in Houston.

Andrew Luck threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns with only one interception in the Wildcard match.

Kansas City and Indianapolis have a rich history in the post-season. The two teams have met four times with Indianapolis winning all four meetings (1995, 2004, 2007, 2013). Andrew Luck quarterbacked the team only in the 2013 meeting in Indianapolis.

This will be Patrick Mahomes's first playoff game as a starting quarterback. He enters the postseason as a front-runner for the NFL MVP award, tallying 50 touchdowns and 5,097 yards thrown.
