HUTCHINSON, Kan. (Blue Dragon Athletics) After one of the most complete victories in several seasons, the Hutchinson Community College football team moved up one spot to No. 11 in this week’s NJCAA Rankings, which were released on Tuesday.

The Blue Dragons rolled up 573 total yards and held Fort Scott to eight yards rushing in a 61-21 victory last Saturday at Gowans Stadium to improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Jayhawk Conference.

Garden City stayed at No. 7 in this week’s rankings and remains the highest-ranked Jayhawk Conference team. Hutchinson is No. 11 and Butler jumped up six spots after a 22-0 shutout of Coffeyville to No. 14. Highland, Coffeyville and Independence are all receiving votes this six.

The Blue Dragons play host to Rezolution Prep at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Gowans Stadium.
