HAYS, Kan. The cold and drizzle didn't stop fort Hays State fans from coming out Saturday to see their Tigers push their overall record to 11-0.
FHSU students say the campus is buzzing with excitement because of the national-level success.
One student says the Tiger's conference championship has not only increased excitement on campus, but has also increased the number of students who are football fans.
"Me and my friends talk about it a lot more and we're all really hyped to go to the games and just to see the football players around," student Lily Bledsoe says.
The Tigers have a bye week in the first round of the playoffs, which starts this weekend. Their next game is the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 25) in Hays.
