SALT LAKE CITY The Kansas Jayhawks controlled Northeastern nearly from start to finish in Thursday's NCAA Tournament opener in the Midwest Region. The final buzzer hadn't even sounded yet when the question became: When will the Jayhawks take the court next?
Late Tuesday night, the NCAA announced that No. 4 seed KU and No. 5 seed Auburn will square off at 8:40 p.m. Saturday in Salt Lake City. The game will be aired on TBS.
If the Jayhawks win, they'll move on to the Midwest Regional semifinal round (Sweet 16) in Kansas City, Mo. and a possible matchup against No. 1 seed North Carolina, led by former KU coach Roy William.s
