MANHATTAN, Kan. (KWCH) -- Former Kansas State wide receiver Isaiah Zuber announced Friday on his twitter that he will be transferring to Mississippi State.

"I appreciate everything KState has done for me and the opportunity they gave me," Zuber wrote on Twitter. "Thank you to all the fans, my teammates and coaches that believed in me! For my last year in collegiate football I'm coming back south to play at Mississippi State! Thanks for the love!"

Zuber, who led the Wildcats in receiving last season, sat out for the entire spring season recovering from hip surgery. As a graduate transfer, he is eligible to play immediately.

Chris Klieman and the Cats will face Zuber and the Bulldogs on September 14 in Starkville, Mississippi.
