Perry Ellis to be inducted into 2019 KSHSAA Hall of Fame

Perry Ellis has been selected to be inducted into the 2019 Kansas State High School Activities Association Hall of Fame.

Ellis graduated from Heights High School in 2012. He was the class valedictorian, led the Falcons to four state basketball titles, earned a DI college scholarship and was named a McDonald's All-American.

Ellis went on to the play at the University of Kansas where he was the 2016 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He also represented the United States at the 2015 World University Games and led Team USA to an 84-77 victory over Team Germany.

Ellis was signed to the s.Oliver Würzburg, a German basketball club, in earlier this year after playing for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League.

Other inductees in the KSHSAA 2019 class include Oscar Birt, Marcel Carter, Fred Cottrell, and Erik Nielsen.
