The Pro Football Writers of America have named Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes the 2018 NFL Most Valuable Player and the league's Offensive Player of the Year.
Mahomes, in his second NFL season, is the sixth consecutive quarterback to be selected MVP. He's also the first Chiefs player to be named PFWA Offensive Player of the Year.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle, Aaron Donald, was named the 2018 Defensive Player of the Year.
Mahomes and Donald could meet up in the Superbowl 53 on Feb. 3, but first, they each have to win their division titles on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams take on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship at 2:05 p.m.
Mahomes and the Chiefs will face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots Sunday at 5:04 p.m. in Kansas City.
