SURPRISE, AZ (Release/KWCH) - The Kansas CIty Royals today announced that Salvador Perez suffered an injury to his right elbow during Wednesday's workout in Surprise, AZ. He underwent an MRI on Thursday which revealed damage to the ulnar collateral ligament, or UCL. Perez will seek a second opinion early next week in Los Angeles from Dr. Neal ElAttrache, a specialist in UCL injuries.
