Coming into Saturday's game against Tulsa, Wichita State had led at halftime the past three games by at least 20 points. That was not the case Saturday - WSU led by just four going into halftime thanks to a late 16-2 run to end the second half.
"I just hate losing," said Zach Brown. "To lose like that is the worst way, you work all game. Thank God we came out with the win."
The Shocker faithful deserves some of the credit too. They showed up at Reynolds Center in force. The crowd was split in half - if not favored towards WSU.
"That was like Koch Arena South, man," said Gregg Marshall. That was tremendous."
Wichita State will be back at the real Koch Arena Wednesday night to host SMU.
