Wade returns, Wildcats win 65-51 over West Virginia

MORGANTOWN Dean Wade returned Monday night to help the Wildcats overcome the West Virginia Mountaineers, 65 to 51.

But it was senior Barry Brown, Jr. that led the Wildcats (20-6, 10-3 Big 12) with a game-high of 21 points, his 22nd career 20-point game and seventh this season.

K-State posted its 5th 20-win season under head coach Bruce Weber, while it posted 10 conference wins for the fourth time and back-to-back seasons. The Wildcats have won 6 straight road games in Big 12 play.

K-State returns home to Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday afternoon, as the Wildcats host Oklahoma State (10-16, 3-10 Big 12) at 3:05 p.m., CT on ESPN2. The Wildcats won the first meeting, 75-57, on Feb. 2 at Gallagher-Iba Arena behind a near school-record 16 made 3-point field goals.
