Wichita city manager defends position on WPD text message investigation

Momentum is building for the state constitutional amendment vote, a little more than one month away.

A Wichita Public Schools teacher and Andover resident who survived the April 29 tornado was also a passenger on the Amtrak train that derailed in Missouri.

The local union said it's not asking to be the highest paid department out there, but wants the Wichita FD to be in the ballpark with similar departments.
