Two people are killed in a motorcycle crash in Meade County.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, it happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday on K23, eight miles south of Meade.

The crash log says the motorcycle, a 2006 Harley Davidson Fat Boy, was eastbound on K23 at a high rate of speed. Ronald Richard Garber and Sarah Marie Adkins are listed as the driver and passenger of the motorcycle.

As the motorcycle was attempting to exit K23 onto V road, Garber lost control. The motorcycle struck a sign, ejecting both Garber and Adkins.

Both Garber and Adkins died in the accident. They were not wearing helmets.
