Kapaun won this night’s version of the holy war against cross-town rival Carroll 54-36. Carroll’s Jordyn Miller led all scorers with 14 points in the loss. Sydney Kuhn and Sam Bachroch both scored 11 points for Kapaun. Northwest held West to just a single point in the third quarter and cruised to the 49-20 win. South took down Southeast 50-32 behind 16 points from Jessa Molina. East had some trouble with North, but came away with the 43-32 win.

Salina South ran past Campus 47-29. Salina Central trailed Derby for much of the game, but was able to pull away at the end for the 47-42 win. Newton took down Hutch 51-41 in an AVCTL Div. I match.

Andover slid by Valley Center 41-39 thanks in large part to a 28-point second half. Andover Central dominated Goddard 66-41. Ark City cruised by Eisenhower 41-31. Buhler didn’t have many problems with Collegiate in its 58-49 win. Maize South traveled to El Dorado and took down the Lady Cats 45-43 behind 18 points from Mariah Suchan.

Mulvane pulled away in the second half against Clearwater to come away with the 43-33 win. Wellington nearly doubled-up Augusta 40-23. Wellington held Augusta scoreless in the second quarter.

Smoky Valley took care of business against Halstead 48-33. Haven utterly dominated Kingman in a 49-31 drubbing. Haven’s Hailey Davis led all scorers with 14 points. Hesston’s Sam Short scored 27 points en route to a 63-36 demolition of Sterling. Hillsboro ran past Lyons 59-34. Pratt showed no mercy against Nickerson in a 53-26 win. Pratt’s Aubrey Hoover led all players with 26 points.

Medicine Lodge jumped out to a 16-7 first-quarter lead and didn’t look back in a 55-42 win over Cheney. Ali Rogers finished with 19 points for the Lady Indians. Belle Plaine’s Ciarra Myers’ 22 points wasn’t enough for the Lady Dragons as it lost to Douglass 59-49. Chaparral more than doubled-up Bluestem 49-21.

Trinity stomped Independent 47-22. Garden Plain jumped out to a 13-3 first-quarter lead and didn’t look back in the 37-24 win.

Ell-Saline took down Bennington 55-43 behind 18 points from Emily Work. Berean Academy demolished Marion 55-37. Berean’s Mallory Zuercher scored 16 points and Kayla Wilgers contributed 14 points in the win.

Inman took a 20-11 lead into halftime against Canton-Galva and finished it off with a 45-30 win. Moundridge destroyed Hutch Trinity 47-24. Remington took a 37-14 lead into halftime and came away with a 51-30 win over Sedgwick.
