Trip Tunes is like a time machine for your music library. You tell it where you’re going and what kind of vibe you’re looking for, and it creates a “mix tape” just for your trip. It’s like having a personal DJ who knows exactly what you want to hear.
How Does It Work?
It’s super easy! You just enter your starting point and destination, pick your favorite music genres, and describe the “vibe” you’re going for. Are you feeling upbeat and nostalgic? Maybe a little mellow and introspective? Trip Tunes has got you covered.
The app’s clever bots then work their magic, creating a playlist of songs that perfectly match your trip and your mood. You might discover some hidden gems you’ve never heard before or rediscover old favorites you’d forgotten about.
The Nostalgia is Real
The best part? Trip Tunes even makes your playlist look like an old-school mix tape, complete with handwritten song titles. It’s a total throwback and a fun way to relive those mix tape days. Plus, you can export your mix tape as a playlist to Apple Music, so you can save it and listen to it anytime.
The Downside
The only downside is that Trip Tunes only works on iPhones and requires an Apple Music subscription. But if you meet those requirements, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Trip Tunes is free to try, and you get a few mix tapes to start. If you want to make more, you can buy additional tapes for a small fee. It’s a small price to pay for a personalized soundtrack to your next adventure.
