Fire-juggling unicyclist spotted at busy intersection, police say

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) - A fire-juggling unicyclist was caught on camera performing in a busy intersection, according to a police department in Colorado.

The Commerce City Police Department said it received several calls reporting the “stoplight entertainment.”

Commerce City police said they frequently patrol the intersection but had never received a report like this.

A drone sent to the area captured the unicyclist juggling fire in the crosswalk.

Commerce City police said the act was “quite good,” but it was also illegal because the unicyclist was trespassing in the median and didn’t exit the crosswalk in time.

According to officers, the fire-juggling unicyclist was not ticketed but was ushered away from the intersection.

“We didn’t give him a ticket. But we also don’t want him to die, so we moved him along,” the department said. “His show would best be performed somewhere other than the middle of the roadway.”
