1 hospitalized after Reno County crash

RENO COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) - One person was seriously injured after a crash in northern Reno County on Friday evening.

The Reno County Sheriff’s Office said that at around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, deputies, EMS and fire crews were sent to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 95th Avenue and Plum Avenue.

At the scene, both vehicles were facing west in the west ditch. Preliminary investigation indicates the first vehicle was northbound and attempted to turn west into a driveway when it turned in front of a southbound vehicle.

The driver of the first vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. All three occupants of the second vehicle were uninjured.

The accident is under investigation.
