McPherson daycare owner accused of child abuse headed to court

MCPHERSON, Kan. (KWCH) - A case against a McPherson daycare owner accused of abusing a child will now go to trial.

Kimberly Horn faces multiple charges, including child abuse and six counts of child endangerment. The charges stem from an incident in September of last year.

Court documents reveal that Horn is accused of pushing, slapping and even biting a child under the age of six. Horn faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Horn is due back in court Aug. 7.
