Domestic disturbance with weapon in northeast Wichita prompts emergency response

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wichita police are on scene in northeast Wichita on Saturday for what Sedgwick County dispatch described as a “domestic disturbance.”

The disturbance is in the 3600 block of north Rushwood, near 37th and Woodlawn.

Dispatch confirmed the call came in at 8:19 p.m. and a weapon is involved in the disturbance.

Viewers have reported witnessing a helicopter in the area.
