NICU babies at Via Christi St. Joseph dressed up for Halloween
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Halloween is sweet this year in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, where nurses and nurse techs helped the hospital’s tiniest patients celebrate their first Halloween in style.
The care team hand-crafted costumes, including a bee, a butterfly, a flamingo, McDonald’s French fries, Winnie the Pooh and many more.

The hospital said the special activity is a fun and meaningful way to share joy, creativity, and compassion with families spending the holiday in the NICU.
Via Christi St. Joseph said the celebration reflects the dedication and heart the Via Christi care teams bring to every patient, every day.
