Man hurt in S. Wichita shooting

A man is hurt after being shot in South Wichita early Saturday morning. It happened in the 1700 block of South Gold at around 4:30 a.m.
Police say that man was with some other people outside of a car when he was shot in the back.
They believe it was a drive-by.
The man was taken to the hospital with potentially critical injuries.
Police have been interviewing witnesses and trying to piece together what happened.
No arrests have been made.
