Nearly a decade later, Wichita police seek answers in Arthur Goebel’s unsolved murder

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department is renewing efforts into the nearly decade-old unsolved murder of Arthur Goebel.

Goebel would have celebrated his 76th birthday Sunday.

On July 16, 2017, Goebel woke up to a noise and went to investigate when he was shot at his home in the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park.

While the case remains unsolved, the police continue to seek answers for his family.
