The Cowley County Sheriff's Office, responding to a disturbance early Tuesday morning, found smoke coming from a mobile home when they arrived on the scene.
The report came in about 2:30 a.m.
The sheriff's office identifies a man deputies are hoping to speak with in connection to the fire. They identify the man as 25-year-old Jacob Andes.
Upon arrival to the scene early Tuesday morning, sheriff's deputies could heard popping sounds coming from inside the home. It is believed the source of the sound was either the fire itself, or ammunition going off.
Fire engulfed the mobile home.
