Multiple arrested following short chase in Kechi, vehicle determined stolen

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kechi Police Department confirmed multiple people were arrested following a short chase on Friday evening.

In a press release, officials said an officer noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate speed into city limits around 6 p.m. The officer began to conduct a traffic stop when the vehicle fled.

A pursuit began and shortly ended in the 400 block of N Sioux Ct. where the suspects then fled on foot. The vehicle was later found to be a stolen vehicle.

Officials said approximately 45 minutes later, all suspects in the vehicle were found within city limits and taken into custody.
