Suspect in custody after 6 people were shot outside a club in the nation’s capital, police say

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Police say six people were shot outside a nightclub.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in Washington, DC on April 26.

The Metropolitan Police Department Assistant Chief said officers were called after a dispute started inside the nightclub and “spilled into the street.”

Police have said that none of the injuries are life-threatening.

Police said that they have a suspect in custody and recovered a firearm.

They did not provide additional details about the suspect or what prompted the dispute.
