Hooters to close Wichita location

After serving Wichitans for more than 10 years, Hooters announced it will close its only restaurant in Wichita.
Assistant manager Curtis Wright told Eyewitness News the restaurant located at 3151 north Rock Road will close April 22.
Wright says the popular chain is closing because Hooters of American decided not to renew their lease.
"Everyone is crying, we are like a big family," says Denae Morgan.
The business currently employs 25 Hooter girls, ten cooks and three managers. Hooters will be open until 11 p.m. tonight.
